This is a GENERAL guide for a Bat Size, Bat Size may be dependent on the size and strength of a child. We recommend discussing the optimal Bat Size with one of our Managers or Coaches in the League. One of the most important factors to consider is Bat Speed when hitting. We want the players to be able to swing the Bat as fast as possible thru the Hitting Zone. Purchasing a Bat that is too Long or Heavy for your child will not allow them to do this. You will want to purchase the lightest bat possible for that length for a child that is younger and smaller. As your child gets older and stronger, you may want to consider a heavier bat for the length suggested.

Note: Bat Barrel must be 2-1/4” for use in Cal Ripkin/Babe Ruth play.

This is a GENERAL guide for a Glove Size, Glove Size may be dependent on the size and strength of a child. We recommend discussing the optimal Glove Size with one of our Managers or Coaches in the League. One of the most important factors to consider is that your child is able to control the Glove and squeeze it with one hand. A leather glove is a much better quality glove in that it will be able to be “broken in”. A vinyl or synthetic glove does not have the ability to be “broken in”.
